Bible/Worldview

One of our pet peeves is that Christian home educators are often characterized as not properly socializing their children. To put it bluntly we overly protect them from the "real world". If you've homeschooled for a short time, you're probably tired of hearing this barb. Not only is it annoying, it's pretty much a false accusation. While there are certainly instances where parents are far too sheltering, the vast majority of Christian home educators see the value of teaching their children not only a Christian worldview, but other worldviews as well. This approach has far more integrity than the approach used most often in the aforementioned "real world". We liken this approach to a man standing on a beach when, suddenly, a giant wave washes over him. He knows he's wet, but he doesn't know why. Teaching the Bible and applying a Christian worldview to all aspects of our lives are what we are to do and it is what Christian home educating parents are called to help their children to do. We hope the resources listed in this section will help you as much as they have helped us over the years.
